Hunters are required to have a South Carolina Hunting License BUT NO BIG GAME PERMIT

1) South Carolina Non-Resident Hunting License

    3 Day License - $40

    10 Day License - $75

    Annual License - $125

*Youth Hunters under the age of 16 years do not require a hunting license for hog hunting, but they must have a hunter's education card or sit with an adult.

Hunters are required to have a South Carolina Hunting License, Big Game Permit and Deer Tags

3) Buck Tags - $50 for the first antlered tag **

4) Doe Tags - $10 per tag**

   

    **Non-resident youth receive a base set of tags for free by request like resident youth.

**Youth Hunters under the age of 16 years DO require deer tags for deer hunting. A free set of youth deer tags can be   requested online through the South Carolina DNR. Youth hunters also need a hunter's education card to sit by themselves.

 

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Hunting License, Big Game Permit and Deer Tags CANNOT BE PURCHASED OVER THE COUNTER and Low Country Hunting Lodge CANNOT provide the hunter with these items.

 

The hunting license, big game permit and deer tags can ONLY be purchased through the South Carolina DNR website www.dnr.sc.gov or over the phone with the South Carolina DNR at 803-734-3833. UPDATE: SCDNR now has a new app that makes it easy to get your license and have the info on you on your phone at all times. GooglePlay has it.

• Please purchase these items well in advance of your hunt. It does take the South Carolina DNR time to process the order, print these items and then mail these items to you.

• All hunters are required to have their hunter's safety card! This course can be taken online, but must be done before a license can be purchased!
