I second what Chip said - I hate Youtube because of of the crud that's on there, but there is a lot of good stuff, too and you can't beat it for presenting your videos to a wide range of viewers. The other frustrating deal with Youtube is the 10 minute time limit for each video...that has irritated me to the point of quitting them. About using a Mac - if you'll be doing a lot of video, a Mac is almost a must. I tried to do it on my PC for a year and had nothing but problems - and I was using a pretty spendy program. I switched to Mac, bought Final Cut HD with it, and have loved it ever since. If PC is the route you're going, Pinnacle is a pretty decent program that can be had for a couple hundred bucks I believe. Thanks for the link, Jeff!
