South Carolina Sportsman Magazine Interviews LowcountryHunting

In the latest addition of South Carolina Sportsman magazine, there is a great article by Jeff Burleson on how to use a trailcam to survey the deer on your property as well as how to kill the big bucks you find. And in the article, he uses me from Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge, Jonathan Phillips from Black River Plantation and Hugh McCrea from BigWoods Outfitters to showcase how to get the best results. It is a well-written article that is very informative, and not just because he uses your truly in it.
I have put a link to the magazine’s website, however since they don’t put their articles up on it, you will have to pick up an issue to actually read it. I have also included a trailcam picture of a great 6 point that I caught on camera in August of 2006 and later harvested the last week of October; the trailcam picture of him was taken just 350 yards from where I killed him! That just shows that while bucks definitely roam a lot more during 
the rut, they are usually still in the same general vicinity if your hunting pressure has not run them off.

I might have to pick up a copy. I would love to see what they said about you in the article:):):)
I have been reading up on trailcam surveys, and I think I might do one next year on the property I hunt. It sounds like an awesome tool to have and use.

I so wish my hunting season would get here.

WHAT A STUPID MORON, GOES HUNTING AT NIGHT WITH A BABY. HOW DUMB CAN HE GET. BAD PARENTING, THE MOM MUST BE EVEN MORE DUMB FOR LETTING HER STUPID BRAINDEAD HUSBAND TAKE THE BAB, OR MAYBE SHE LEFT HIM BECAUSE HE IS DUMB! ETHER WAY BAD PARENTING FOR BOTH AND BOTH ARE THE WORST PARENTS IN THE WORLD REPOT THEM ALL LIKE I HAVE TO THE POLICE AND CHILD SERVICES – UM YEA STUPID IT IS ILLEGAL TO TAKE A BABY HUNTING AT NIGHT OR DAY TIME OR ANYTIME STUPID, YEA HIT THAT TRIGGER AND MAKE YOUR BABY GROW UP WITH BAD HEARING OR GO DEAF BECAUSE DAD IS A MORON!
