I think the excitement that he shows for hunting is awesome. I know it can be seen as something else to a few people, but I hope my kids have the same attitude!

Sounds like he really listens to you well - I love that he knows you have to wait for the right shot. I just hope you live in a hunting-tolerant place - did you hear about that story in Pennsylvania where a teacher freaked out on a kid for talking about turkey hunting during break time with his friend? It sounds like you’ve definitely got a dedicated hunter on your hands. I like the whole part about watching them until you get a good shot. There’s a lot of adult hunters who don’t grasp that point.
