8 Point Works Big Oak Scrape and Big News Coming!

Posted by lowcountryhunting on October 15, 2007

CH 8 point at Big Oak scrapeC.J. caught this buck working one of the scrapes by the Big Oak on Cubbedge Hill this weekend. I believe it is one of the same bucks that was working the scrape a couple of hundred yards away in Apple Orchard in my post a few days ago. That is one of the things that really makes the cameras great, because with multiple sightings on any buck, it can really help you to figure out that bucks travel routes.

Also, I sure hope everyone checks back this week for a major announcement! I have on good word that an animal that supposedly does not exist in SC has been caught on camera in our area. I will not say any more than that until I see the picture myself (however I’ve already seen the animal), and I am anticipating the naysayers are going to be eating crow this week…. Lots of it.

I will also have a full report of the weekends hunt, but needless to say since I am not posting a new kill shot, that we did not put anything down.

Cool. Secret announcements are always cool. I have a few guesses so what this animal could be, but I will just sit back and wait and see!

I told Bigfoot not to go there on vacation!

      The skunk-ape?

      Maybe not…

I bet I know what it is… probably the same critter that’s killing dogs up in Bolivia, NC. They say they’re gone from NC/SC, but there’s a lot of folks who say otherwise.
